The German Ecodesign Award 2022, the highest state award for ecological design in Germany, was presented to 14 prize winners in the four categories product, service, concept and young talent on 5 December. The competition has been organised annually since 2012 by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, the Federal Environment Agency and the International Design Centre Berlin.
The Federal Ministry for the Environment and the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) have been awarding the Federal Ecodesign Prize together with the International Design Centre Berlin every year since 2012. The competition rewards outstanding work that is convincing from an environmental and design perspective in the four categories of product, service, concept and young talent. It is aimed at companies of all sizes and sectors as well as students.
