On 27 November 2024, Hamburg will become the place to be for innovative product development: The German Design Council and Indeed Innovation invite you to the Circular Design Clinic. Here, experts will provide support for anyone involved in Circular Design, helping to tackle various challenges in this area.

The first Circular Design Clinic focuses on designing and optimising products in a circular way. This hands-on event will connect experts and businesses, allowing them to take meaningful steps towards a sustainable future and enhanced ecological competitiveness.

Circular Design in Focus

In today’s world of sustainable business, Circular Design is more than just a buzzword; it’s a vital strategy for extending product lifecycles and minimising ecological impact. Experts from well-known companies like Lufthansa Technik, Tchibo, and Johnson & Johnson will share insights on how Circular Design is transforming product development.

Hands-On Product Optimisation

Participants will have the chance to bring their own products and assess their circularity during the event. Collaborating with experts, they will develop specific optimisation strategies to make the transition to circular production easier.

What to Expect:

  • Introduction to Circular Design and the Circular Economy: Discover how Circular Design works and what it means in light of the new EU Eco-Design Directives.
  • Product Analysis and Optimisation: Each product brought to the clinic will be closely examined for potential sustainable improvements.
  • Practical Implementation: Work on actionable plans for integrating optimised design and production methods within your company.
  • Networking with Pioneers: The Clinic will serve as a valuable platform for discussions and exchanging experiences with representatives from companies that have successfully embraced Circular Design, including Jungheinrich and other exciting guests.
