Blanco has reorganised its communications management. Daniela Römgens became Managing Director / Head of Global Brand & Market Communications and Global Group Communications in early December, taking charge of the Blanco Group’s brand and corporate communications. Römgens joined Blanco from Brita, the market leader in water filters, where she spent nine years in various roles, most recently as Vice President Brand Marketing. Prior to that, the international brand management expert and trained journalist worked for media companies such as Germany’s ZDF, RTL Group and Rheinische Post. Römgens says, “I am looking forward to shaping Blanco’s growth on its journey to becoming an internationally regarded premium brand. It is about making Blanco number one for the kitchen water hub in all relevant markets, doing so in an increasingly digital world where value-oriented and sustainable marketing communications are what matter.” Stefan Kohl, previously Head of Global Brand & Market Communications, will focus on global corporate communications and internal communications for the entire group, whose significance has grown considerably through internationalisation and reorganisation.
