If you’re interested in how design is changing our mobility, take a look at the winners of the EUROBIKE AWARDS 2025, which were once again presented in cooperation with the German Design Council. On the evening of 25 June, 37 innovative products were honoured at the leading bicycle and ecomobility trade fair in Frankfurt, with nine receiving the gold award.
The EUROBIKE AWARD has been presented for twenty years, acting as a compass in a rapidly developing market. This year, the jury honoured products characterised not only by outstanding design, but also by a high level of innovation, functionality and sustainability. Gold winners included the Next children’s bike from PUKY, the Nova e-bike from Ampler, the Redstream bike light from Supernova, and the 5.0 Gravity Helmet from Leatt. Digital solutions such as the vit:bikes Akademie also impressed the jury.
Focus On Sustainability
Vaude received the Green Award in 2025 for the TrailControl 20+ Zero backpack, setting a clear signal for climate-friendly product development. According to the manufacturer, the backpack has a carbon footprint of zero. The Belgian company Urbanisto received the Start-Up Award for its modular cargo bike system. Its innovative design offers a fresh approach to urban mobility.
The award-winning projects were on display in Hall 8 of Messe Frankfurt until 29 June, alongside technical information and jury statements. The award winners’ voices were published online at the same time.
Eurobike is now a platform for social debates on mobility, sustainability and urban quality of life, as well as an industry show. With a history spanning more than thirty years and a clear vision for the future, it is a seismograph for the next era of cycling.
