Maison&Objet is celebrating its 30th anniversary under the theme “Terra Cosmos”, which will take place from 5 to 9 September during Paris Design Week. This theme will bring together the cosmos and the earth to fuse futuristic design with innovations such as AI and 3D technologies. The full Paris Design Week programme will also explore futurism trends throughout the city.
Maison&Objet, the Parisian design and lifestyle fair, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Following the January edition, which was themed “Tech Eden” and explored the relationship between technology and nature, this autumn’s edition, which will take place from 5 to 9 September at the Parc des Expositions in Paris-Nord Villepinte, is themed “Terra Cosmos”. Under this theme, the Fair aims to re-evaluate and put into practice the relationship between the universe and our planet, and to extend the link between man and the cosmos. The fair seeks to decode new consumer desires and expectations, focusing on connectivity, virtuality, immersion, smart materials, 3D technologies and AI. This cosmic vision of the future will be combined with practicality, while remaining firmly anchored in a fair that focuses on creativity, innovation and new trends. The “Future on Stage” theme will showcase French and international talents and companies, no more than three years old, at the forefront of innovation, business and creativity.
The Terra Cosmos theme will be present throughout the Maison&Objet ecosystem, from the Maison&Objet and More (MOM) online platforms to live events, exhibitions, installations, conferences, showrooms and other events taking place in four districts of Paris during Paris Design Week from 7 to 16 September.
On Saturday 7 September, the German Design Council welcomes its members – and those who would like to become one – to a Meet & Greet with the fair’s management. A cosmic touch will also be on display, with futuristic design and digital shopping experiences inspired by the metaverse.
