The ‘munich creative business week’ (mcbw), organised by ‘bayern design’, will take place from 11 to 19 May 2024 in Munich.
The munich creative business week (mcbw) is Germany’s largest design event and is organised by bayern design. This year motto “How to co-create with nature” is aimed at designers from the fields of design and architecture, companies and the general public with an interest in design. A wide range of formats, from scientific to playful interpretations of the annual motto, invites you to participate, discuss and reflect.
The programme of this year’s mcbw is made up of over 140 interesting events. Professional and public formats of the mcbw include the mcbw design summit at Munich Urban Colab, pop-up containers at Königsplatz and Viktualienmarkt, the festival centre mcbw hub at Rindermarkt and the Designwalk in Haidhausen. There will also be installations in public spaces, such as the augmented reality installation Arabidopsis Symphony by Fillip Studios, founded by Tom Kortbeek, who will also be speaking at the mcbw summit.
The mcbw Design Summit 2024
This year’s mcbw design summit 2024 is all about nature as a co-creator. Together with Italian architect and mcbw creative explorer Stefano Boeri and many other internationally renowned speakers, we will present innovative design approaches and put nature centre stage.
