From 3 to 7 July 2024, the mobility revolution takes off in Frankfurt am Main: innovations, bike races, workshops and the coveted Eurobike Award.

Bicycles of all sizes, types and designs are not only popular for sport and leisure, they also play a central role in addressing global challenges such as climate change, digitalisation, urbanisation and demographic change. Whether electric or not, innovations from the world of smart mobility and the bicycle industry are a key component of a sustainable mobility revolution. From 3 to 7 July, Eurobike, the world’s leading trade show at Messe Frankfurt, will once again present a comprehensive and varied programme covering the core topics of the entire cycling world. Over three trade visitor days and the subsequent festival weekend, “high-calibre conferences and networking events, lectures and workshops, an extensive test and show programme and exciting bike races will provide a platform for global exchange and experience”.

On the first three days of the fair, Eurobike is open to trade visitors. In close collaboration with the umbrella organizations of the European and German bicycle industry (CIE – Cycling Industries Europe, CONEBI – Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry, ZIV – Zweirad-Industrie-Verband, Zukunft Fahrrad, and VSF – Verbund Service und Fahrrad), a program has been curated that “integrates the needs of the entire bicycle and ecomobility ecosystem.” The program aims to discuss “spaces for transformation” and set “the course for necessary changes” in order to “gain political and societal influence at all levels and generate communicative reach for bicycles, e-bikes, and light electric vehicles.” All conference formats are based on the “six theme tracks” of the world-leading fair: Innovation, Digitalization, Sustainability, Inspiration, Retail, and People.

A day before the fair begins, Eurobike invites the leading figures of the bicycle and ecomobility world to the “Leaders’ Night”. The newly developed evening format, under the motto “Hello Future. Hello Transformation.” features keynotes and networking. On July 3rd, the “Industry & Start-Up Day” culminates with the presentation of the Eurobike Award in a total of eleven categories. In organising the awards, the world’s leading trade fair is once again collaborating with the German Design Council, an experienced design and brand authority in Germany. Thursday’s events include the “Mobility Convention” and an “Ecomobility Talk” on future light electric vehicle technology and the Cargo Bike Academy. The fair concludes with the Eurobike Weekend on July 6th and 7th, a “major bicycle festival for all bike and activity enthusiasts” featuring “bike trends, action, shows, bike races, and participatory activities for children and families.” In the outdoor demo area, more than 1,200 bikes and vehicles from 180 exhibitors are available for test rides.
