In 2022, the Design Campus will award three workshop scholarships for the second time as part of the German Design Graduates Initiative for the annual summer school that takes place between mid-July and the end of August. Sponsored by the Goethe Institute, this year’s scholarship holders will also have the opportunity to present their work at the renowned Design Biennale in Ljubljana.

PROCESS
Thomas A. Geisler, director of the Museum of Decorative Arts and initiator of the Design Campus, and his team selected 13 young graduates from all participating universities for the shortlist.

The graduates were selected on the basis of their affinity for the material and the extraordinary potential of their final theses, as well as their proximity to this year’s programme theme of the Design Campus and the theme of the Biennale.

For the projects presented on the website, 3 votes can be cast per person. After the end of the voting period, the votes will be counted. The 3 candidates with the simple majority of votes will receive the scholarships.
