The German Federal Ecodesign Award 2021, the highest state award for ecological design in Germany, was presented to ten prize winners in the four categories product, service, concept and young talent on 6 December. The competition has been held annually since 2012 by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, the Federal Environment Agency and the International Design Centre Berlin.
The prize is awarded to products, services, concepts and young talents’ work that demonstrate outstanding ecological quality, an innovative approach and high design quality. Students and graduates were eligible to apply for the Young Talent Award.
