Heimtextil, the international trade fair for home and contract textiles and textile design, will once again take place in Frankfurt am Main at the beginning of next year. From 9 to 12 January 2024, more than 2,600 exhibitors in the halls of Messe Frankfurt will present “the trends of the season, textile sustainability, the world’s largest range of home textiles as well as product and information offerings for interior design, hospitality and the megatrend Sleep. Globally bundled and passionately presented”. Heimtextil 2024 will also see the launch of ‘Econogy’, a realignment of the sustainable formats in the global ‘Texpertise Network’. ‘Econogy’ will standardise the evaluation criteria for all Messe Frankfurt textile events and create ‘cross-fair transparency for resource-saving products and exhibitors’.

Heimtextil will be extended by two new halls in 2024: Hall 5.1 will house the new ‘Carpets & Rugs’ product segment, while Hall 10.4 will showcase ‘Asian Selection exhibitors’ in the home textiles segment. Hall 3 serves as a ‘creative hub’ for Heimtextil Trends 24/25 and exhibitors from the fields of wall decoration, textile design and textile technology. Future design consultancy FranklinTill is curating “a global showcase of cutting-edge textiles and materials to illustrate the principles of regenerative design”. And the curated “Interior.Architecture.Hospitality LIBRARY” presents innovative functional textiles from selected exhibitors. The material library focuses on the following properties: flame-retardant, sound-absorbing, light-resistant, antimicrobial, dirt-repellent and abrasion-resistant.
