The furniture designs of Enzo Mari are characterised by a consistent, direct style. His book “Autoprogettazione?” is an epochal work for furniture styled by the consumer with simple tools, and it shaped the do-it-yourself movement. The Milan-based designer died at the age of 88 on 19 October 2020. The podcast-series “Enzo Mari Costellazione” honours the design legend.

Design critic Alice Rawsthorn is commemorating Mari with a series of podcasts entitled “Enzo Mari Costellazione” for the Milan Triennial. She is accompanied in it by friends and companions of the legendary furniture designer. Ulrich Obrist, Martino Gamper, Paola Antonelli, Formafantasma, Marva Griffin Wilshire and Stefano Boeri each make spoken contributions. The podcasts are in English and available for free.
