More than 40 graduates from over 20 German design and art colleges will present their final projects at the Design Campus of the Dresden State Art Collections in the Water Palace of Pillnitz Palace from 2 October 2022.

Under the influence of the serious changes and developments in politics, society and the environment, the exhibition is dedicated to the central themes of our time and shows the most interesting ideas and approaches of young product design talents in the categories “Sustainable Solutions”, “Everyday Life”, “Technical Innovation”, “Living Together” and “Future Scenarios”. Visitors will discover a wealth of forward-looking (product) design work – from inclusive toys to innovative augmented reality applications and politically and socially motivated concepts.

At the opening, the winners of the four awards offered by the German Design Council will be announced, which are intended to make it easier for graduates to start their careers and to honour their ideas for shaping our future. The opening weekend will also feature a packed programme of talks on the theme of “Perspectives for Graduates in Product Design”, which will discuss the most pressing issues facing graduates in the future.
