Messe Berlin and Vogel Communications Group are combining their expertise in a strategic partnership: together, they have launched two online platforms: Intelligent Mobility Xperience and MES Insights. Both platforms present building blocks of a holistic mobility system of the future and address international target groups. By complementing existing Messe Berlin fairs with all-year-round digital formats, they bridge the gap between live events and virtual communication. Intelligent Mobility Xperience presents the latest concepts and viewpoints in areas such as self-driving road and railway vehicles, as well as micromobility. MES Insights, a network for electronics suppliers in the mobility sector, explores issues such as current progress in battery development and considers, for instance, how the Internet of things can be harnessed to transform railway transport.  Messe Berlin is therefore picking up on a current trend that, in recent years, has also been reflected in the growing appeal of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, as well as the IFA trade fair in Berlin, for mobility providers. It remains to be seen how the individual trade fairs and platforms will establish themselves following the relaunch of the IAA in Munich.
