This year, many fairs are returning to their usual rhythms and seasonal dates.
From 17 to 21 April, the world’s largest industrial trade fair, the Hannover Messe, awaits exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. In times of transformation of entire branches of industry, Hannover shows how important convincing design, far-sighted brand policy and sustainability are in global competition.
After the fair and its countless side events had to be postponed several times due to the pandemic or took place in a smaller format, the busy Milan-based – Salone del Mobile – including FuoriSaloni and much more – will take place again this year in spring, more precisely: from 18 to 23 April, in the exhibition halls in Rho. The German Design Council will be present and will award the winners and the “Best of Best” work of the international one&twenty competition for young designers on 17 April in Milan. The projects will be presented in an exhibition designed by the Danish design studio TABLEAU.
From 9 to 12 May, the Interzum trade fair invites you to Cologne. This is when the global furniture supplier sector and interior design industry will meet at Koelnmesse to find out about the latest trends and discuss the future of the industry. New technologies, materials and surfaces will be presented.
With the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York City, North America’s leading platform for contemporary furniture design opens its doors from 21 to 23 May. Architects, interior architects, designers and representatives of the retail and wholesale trade will be presented with a wide range of furnishing products for the residential, contract and hospitality sectors. The ICFF and the concurrent WantedDesign Manhattan attract over 400 established and emerging design brands from more than 25 countries to New York.
The imm Spring Edition will take place in Cologne from 4 to 7 June as a unique trade visitor fair. According to the announcement, the format is positioned “for exhibitors and visitors with a focus on inspiration, business and networking”. With the Spring Edition, the imm cologne also wants to begin a reorientation of the international furnishing fair at the Cologne location.
At the Eurobike in the halls of Messe Frankfurt from 21 to 25 June, the mobility discussion meets tangible technology and design innovations. At the fair you can see what the booming bike and future mobility industry can contribute to the transformation of the bicycle from a leisure and sports device to a central component of a sustainable mobility revolution. The most innovative new products will be honoured at the Eurobike Award on 21 June in partnership with the German Design Council.
