Braun Audio is making a comeback with the LE speakers
First introduced in the late 1950s, the «LE speakers» designed by Dieter Rams and his team at Braun were considered the avant-garde among consumer electronics. For decades, consumer electronics (discontinued in 1990) made up a permanent and lucrative part of the Braun business, producing numerous design classics, such the «LE 1» speaker. In recent years, the LE 1 has garnered increasing attention in connection with Apple Design. And now, Braun has announced the return of the LE series of speakers under the Braun Audio brand name, in collaboration with Pure Audio, a British company. The speakers, which will feature state-of-the-art technology, are scheduled to be presented at the IFA in Berlin, from 6 to 11 September.
