Since 2014, the designs of more than 75 selected designers have been presented. Now in its tenth year, the “Designers Tower” is taking place in Cologne-Ehrenfeld for the first time. According to the announcement, “high-quality, innovative and sustainable interior design by 12 designers and studios” will be presented in the “Rufffactory”. These include solid wood furniture from the Bielefeld label “Holdhold”, designs by Dortmund-based Judith Kamp, alias Nostudio, wall hooks, wardrobe and mirror cabinet from “Budde”. Tamara Zgraggen, it is said, embodies the objectification of the female body in an “exaggerated, socially critical way” with the explicit curves of her armchair; social aspects and those of sustainability are combined in Martina Allerbeck’s “Banti Baskets” project. The designer Paulina Heidlberger, who is showing her wall panels made of mushroom material and her modular shelving system made of “Holtz” for the first time, is also concerned with renewable raw materials.

Novelties, Design Perspectives, Networking in der Design Post
New and established products from renowned manufacturers and brand partners from the interiors sector will also be presented in a relaxed atmosphere from 14 to 18 January at the Design Post, located opposite the exhibition halls. On Sunday, 14 January, the Design Post and H.O.M.E magazine invite you to the opening event from 18:30 – 21:00 under the motto “novelties, design perspectives, networking” (by invitation).
