This year, the “Passagen” in Cologne will once again be presenting a whole host of contemporary design. From 12 to 18 January and after three preview days parallel to the imm cologne, a diverse programme of events and exhibitions on current trends in design and especially interior design will take place throughout the city in showrooms, galleries, furniture stores, cultural institutes, museums and universities as part of Interior Design Week Cologne. Like the imm cologne, “Passagen” is also returning to its traditional date in January with the current edition after an interlude in summer 2023. In its 35th year, according to the announcement, it will “open the international design season as usual with exhibitions and presentations by the crème de la crème of the design scene in the design city of Cologne”. The Passagen timetable includes exhibitions such as “Designers Fair” and “Designers Tower” as well as a variety of exhibitions, presentations and events in Ehrenfeld, the Belgian Quarter, the city centre and Deutz. Cologne’s current young design generation can be discovered for the second time as part of the curated “Cartes Blanches” programme.
