re/set mobility design. International conference in Offenbach
In view of the many discussions on climate change, Fridays for Future protests and the latest IAA International Motor Show, in-depth deliberations on the future of mobility and how designers can help to solve these problems are a welcome development. The international design conference re/set mobility design. shaping future mobility will take place at the Offenbach am Main College of Design on 7 and 8 November 2019. Experts from around the world will be speaking on mobility, infrastructure and architecture, and will talk to participants during the conference. The Offenbach College of Design is currently participating in the research association «Infrastructure – Design – Society. Design research in mobility systems for the development of multi-modal, green mobility in the Rhine-Main conurbation», and is set to establish a centre for mobility design during the next few years. The deadline for registering for the conference is 24 October 2019.
