Mia Seeger Prize 2020. Submission deadline postponed
The Mia Seeger Foundation, based in Stuttgart, recently announced that the Mia Seeger Prize 2020 will be going ahead. Adjustments have of course also been necessary in light of the present circumstances: submissions will only be accepted digitally and the deadline for them has been postponed to 29 May 2020, giving students and up-and-coming designers sufficient time to format their work accordingly. The Mia Seeger Prize, which always runs under the motto of “For one’s own as well as others’ benefit”, seeks to be a platform on which design presents solutions for everyday problems and achieves the aspirations of social design, including during the current crisis. The German Design Council has been a partner of this award for young talent for many years and will be maintaining its commitment this year, too.
